What Is Embroidery Digitization?
Embroidery digitization is the process of converting a design (image file) into machine-readable embroidery files (DST format), and it requires the expertise of skilled digitizers to ensure accuracy. These files contain detailed instructions for stitch types, directions, densities, and stitch sequences. The digitization process is charged separately and will start as soon as payment is received. It typically takes 1-2 business days. Once a design is digitized, the file can be reused for future orders, making it a one-time investment in product quality.

From Design to Stitches:
5 Simple Steps
Embroidery digitizing made simple in just 5 steps—turn your designs into flawless stitches with ease. Experience effortless embroidery digitization today!

STEP 1: Customize your embroidery design
Select your garment and choose the area where you'd like the embroidery design to appear. Click "Add Embroidery" to upload your design. Please note that only designs added via the 'Add Image' option need digitization.

STEP 2: Pay the digitization fee
A one-time digitization fee for each product template will be charged only upon the first payment for that template. See the digitization fee details in the pricing section.

STEP 3: Design enters the digitization process
After the digitization fee is paid, our professional digitizers will create a high-quality embroidery file based on your design and specifications.

STEP 4: Preview and approve
Once digitized, the digitization preview will require your approval before production. If you're not completely satisfied, you can request revisions - we offer up to two rounds of revisions to ensure your design is perfect.

STEP 5: Sit back and relax
Production begins after your approval of all digitization previews. Please note that the time taken for the digitization process will affect your delivery timeline. Any compensation for delays will be calculated from the date of digitization approval.
Digitization Fee
A digitization fee applies to each embroidery frame that uses uploaded images in your product template, and the exact fee per frame differs between apparel and caps — see the Pricing table below. Once a design is digitized, you'll receive a DST format embroidery file that can be reused across product templates without incurring any additional digitization fees. Uploading your own DST file incurs no digitization fee at all.
