FAQs about ZeroShrink

What is ZeroShrink by PODpartner?: ZeroShrink is PODpartner's built-in pre-shrink finishing, included free on every eligible garment. PODpartner runs its own garment and print factories, so we control the fabric before it ever reaches the printer.

Does "pre-shrunk" mean a t-shirt won't shrink?: No, and that gap is exactly why PODpartner built ZeroShrink. "Pre-shrunk" only means the fabric was shrunk once before cutting; most blanks still lose 3–7% in a hot dryer.

Why do print-on-demand shirts shrink after washing?: Most blanks are cotton, and cotton keeps shrinking when untreated thread and knit relax under hot water and dryer heat. Even "pre-shrunk" blanks commonly move 3–5% on the first hot home wash.

Does ZeroShrink cost extra, and is there a minimum order?: No. ZeroShrink finishing is built into every eligible PODpartner garment at no extra cost, with no minimum order quantity. Whether you order one piece or one thousand, the finishing is the same.

Which products come with ZeroShrink?: ZeroShrink comes standard on cotton and cotton-rich garments: t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatshirts and sweatpants. Availability is listed on each product page.

Will pre-shrinking change the print, color or feel of the garment?: No. ZeroShrink is a finishing process applied to the fabric. Print, embroidery, color and the hand of the garment are unchanged. You simply get a size-stable blank.

How is ZeroShrink different from ordering pre-shrunk blanks?: Pre-shrunk blanks are treated once and benchmarked to air-dry, so they still move 3–7% in a hot home dryer. ZeroShrink drives the shrink fully out, measured after tumble-dry cycles, and backs it with a written guarantee.

What happens if a garment still shrinks?: If a key dimension comes in ≥1″ (≈2.5cm) short of the size chart after care-label washing, PODpartner reships it free or refunds it, verified and answered within 5 business days. Read the full guarantee

How do I file a shrinkage claim?: Lay the garment flat on a hard, level surface and smooth it out naturally without stretching. Measure the Body Length (from shoulder to hem) or Chest Width (across the chest, 1″ below the armhole) and compare it to our published size chart.

What isn't covered by the ZeroShrink guarantee?: The ZeroShrink Guarantee does not apply to:
• Dimensional changes resulting from aggressive stretching or physical alteration (this is considered deformation, not shrinkage).
• Variations within the ±1″ (2.5 cm) production tolerance specified in our size guides.
• Damage, distressing, or alterations caused by third parties after delivery.

Do my customers need to hand-wash or air-dry the garments?: No. ZeroShrink is engineered to withstand standard home laundering cycles. Your customers can simply wash and dry as usual; no special hand-washing or air-drying is required.
